Enter your Windows Live ID (your Hotmail address) and your current (old) password. Click "Sign In" to sign in to your account. After you sign in, click on the "change" link in the "Password reset information" section. On the next page enter your old Windows Live password and your new Windows Live password twice.
Basically, to reset a Lorex recorder and recover the admin password, you need to either to do a hard reset on the motherboard or try default password or use a password generator to create a temporary password based on the DVR’s date (or serial number). Below we are going to detail each password reset methods.
