After completing RadioRA 2 Level 1 training, and the user’s myLutron account updated accordingly, the software will function as Essentials for up to 100 devices. The user may need to log-out of the RadioRA 2 software, and back in for the update from Designer to Essentials to take effect.

Design and programming of the RadioRA 2 system is done through the RadioRA 2 programming software. Qualified accounts can download the latest version of software by using the myLutron portal of Lutron.com. Video tutorials demonstrating how to use the software are available on myLutron, from the Learning Hub section of the myLutron home page.
The Designer software is intended to help specify RadioRA 2 jobs. It does not contain the ability to activate or transfer to a main repeater. After completing RadioRA 2 Level 1 training, and the user’s myLutron account updated accordingly, the software will function as Essentials for up to 100 devices.
