MAGEE Scientific 47www.mageesci.com The electronics circuit board converts the optical signals directly from small photocurrents into digital data, and passes it to the computer for calculation. These data and the result of the BC calculation are written to disk and displayed on the front panel of the instrument.
This software may be derived from a disk physically provided by the factory or MAGEE Scientific, or from files sent either by e-mail or downloaded from the MAGEE Scientific website, and copied onto a diskette. First, check the file names by inserting the diskette into another computer and viewing the files on its ‘A:\’ drive.

The equipment is self-contained, automatic, and includes a display screen that shows the input and output hygrometric properties. A data cable can connect to the Model AE33 Aethalometer to incorporate the temperature and humidity data into the Aethalometer’s data files.
The optical performance of the MAGEE Scientific Aethalometer® Model AE33 may be validated by the ‘Neutral Density Optical Filter Kit,’ consisting of four precision optical elements whose absorbance is traceable to fundamental standards.
