Mode 1 is a non-motion system that provides both audio and visual data. It’s what allows for imaging information throughout your search. Mode 2 is a motion system and audio mode that is used for fast ground coverage and deep detection for small metals and objects like coins.
Other factors such as usage of speaker or wired/wireless headphones will also affect battery life for each model. Do not charge the battery in temperatures over 35° C (95° F) or below 0° C ( 32° F). The Kruzer battery can only be replaced by Makro Detectors or its authorized service centers.
Only the search coil is waterproof, the metal detector itself is not submergible. The device has a large LCD display with an adjustable backlit, VDI number is rather clearly seen on it. The central place in the scree is taken by the VDI number that varies from 0 to 99. Discrimination scale is made as a stipe with icons on top of the display.

SEARCH MOD E S Kruzer has 6 search modes designed for different terrains and targets. You can navigate between the modes easily by using the direction buttons.
Kruzer is a motion detector. In other words, you are required to move the search coil over the target or the target over the search coil in order for the device to detect the target. The pinpoint mode is a non-motion mode. Depth Indicator: It shows the target's proximity to the surface in 5 levels during detection.
Press down the pin and engage the pieces together and tighten the twist lock after the pin is clicked into the hole. (2) After inserting the washers on the lower shaft, place the lower shaft in its location on the search coil.
