I will be switching all the beers where I currently use S-04 to Mangrove Jack's M10, probably all the beers I where I use US-05 to M44 (although I still need to wait a couple more weeks for a test batch to mature) and somewhere I need to make room for the M10. In short, very happy and impressed with the yeast!

The mangrove jack can be located in estuaries, rivers and tidal creeks ranging from Sydney in NSW, up the Queensland coastline, transversely the Top End and down the Western Australian coast possibly as far as Perth. Nevertheless, the fish is particularly rare south of Coffs Harbour in the east and Carnavon in the west.

A simple rig that works well for Jack fishing. Local is best! If you’re fishing a creek laden with mangroves and you see Garfish and Mullet swimming around, your best bet is to source them for bait. When applying a bait to your hook it is of great importance to make sure the barb is exposed.
If the water is placid the Jacks aren’t very active. I find both the run in and out going tides are equally productive. What I look for are bends in the creek that the water is pushing into. The Jacks will usually be sitting there waiting to ambush bait fish. Another thing you can look for is a drain. A drain is a gap between Mangrove bushes.
