Manley Labs' most esoteric product is THE 300B PREAMPLlFIER. ... The GZ37 and U52 appear to be close to the spec of a 5U4/5AR4 but draw twice the amount of current on the heaters. The 422A and 596 do not show up in our database. We have no experience using any of these other tubes other than what we have shipped our production out with.

Dec 13, 2015 . I'm using Manley H-Beam Rods and the spec sheet says to use a minimum of 0.0020" of clearance. Right now I'm at around 0.0018" and that is with a STD half shell, and a STDX half shell. So will I be ok with 0.0018" or should I just go ahead and use the other STDX shell and bring it up to 0.0023"?

Just wanted to find out the arp part number for the arp 2000 rod bolts that fit on the Manley h beam rods (p/n 14024), i contacted Manley and they gave me their Manley p/n 42350 for the arp 2000 fastener. Unfortunately when i was building my motor one bolt snapped when torquing to spec.

Manley stem size is .3135”. AFR heads have guides sized to .3147” (nominal). Manley strongly recommends that all guides be checked and correctly sized for the Manley valve stem sizes listed to achieve the proper clearances.

I will say this again: The Chinook is unlike any other phono stage at even twice the price. I know the tube phono stages that are available for $2,799 because I have them available to me to sell.
