  • How to create an IRAF environment using sum01?

    Login to sum01 from its console, using the user account for your obs. (oXXXXX). Click the menu item "ANA menu" on your desktop. "ANA Menu" Window will come up. Push "HDS" button in ANA Menu. An xgterm for IRAF and a "HDS LOG Editor" window will come up. For the first time, "mkiraf" command to create your IRAF environment is running in the xgterm.

  • Where is my IRAF data archived?

    Your data is archived in "/data/oXXXXX/" (read only). Left side is the inside of the task "hdsql". Before "hdsql", you should do preparations ( 1 - 4) on the right side. IRAF tasks used in each processes are written in this color.
