Compared to Stillpoints SS, the Nasotec are not as adept at unveiling hidden detailed nuances but have less of a tendency to highlight sibilance and recording "digititis." I prefer the Nasotec to Stillpoints under my PS Audio BHK preamp.

Apr 16, 2019 . This is a very comprehensive guide to all the pivoting turntable arms which aim to keep the cartridge tangential. Included is a unipivot design from Japan with a pivoting head shell but I don’t think it has a parallel link to move it. It’s called the RS Labs RS-A1 arm. Test of arm with pivoting headshell.

Yes I use 1 set of three under my pre-amp/dac and love the improvement they bring. Also use the Ingress rollerballs and while the Ingress is wonderful the Nasotec VEM footers sound better IMHO. I might place another order for the Nasotec so if interested PM me.

May 22, 2019 . Thanks very much for both your answers but still don't understand the VTA bit. Dubmart, if I put the VTA at zero on my dial (have a Pioneer PLX-1000) the arm might not be level with the platter neither will it be if I put it at say 5. So I need to make sure the arm itself is level and I have previously done that with a bubble.

The Nasotec Swing Headshell is a novel attempt at simultaneous efforts to correct for headshell offset angle and for bias compensation force adjustment. It comprises a well made headshell assembly that may pivot by a limited amount with low enough friction for the angle to change during LP play.
Up front, David adds that since we received our review samples, Nasotec has revised its design, adding insulation to the cartridge leads and springs under adjustable tension to align the components. Both our reviews are of the earlier design without the springs.
