Oftentimes, technical data sheets include product composition, methods of use, operating requirements, common applications, warnings and pictures of the product. A technical data sheet may also be known as a product data sheet.
Validated data sheets on pure substances are available, e.g., from the International Programme on Chemical Safety (IPCS) or from national institutions such as the Canadian Centre for Occupational Safety and Health. These can be used by manufacturers as basic information sources when they create chemical safety data sheets for their own products.
Upland cotton is what most 100% cotton sheets are made of if the type of cotton is not specified. It has shorter fibers than Egyptian and Pima cotton, so it may not be as soft, but these sheets will be more affordable. Cotton sheets are durable and easy to clean.
