If the SD card for the navigation system is not inserted, the compass indicating the direction in which the vehicle is moving is displayed. The navigation system does not transmit your GNSS position and you cannot be tracked. It is important that you look at the display only when it is safe to do so. If you are the driver of the vehicle, we recommend that you operate the navigation system before you start your journey.
Under no cir- cumstances is this system a substitute for the driver’s personal judgement. Use this system only in locations where it is legal to do so. Some states/provinces may have laws prohibiting the use of video and navigation screens next to the driver.
