NCM Code system that was created in the year 1995 and approved by a Decree in 1997 in Brazil, substituting the Brazilian Nomenclature of Goods which is mainly based on Harmonized System. Thus, the eight digits that compose the NCM, first six are from Harmonized System and next two digits represent the specific unfolded with Mercosul.
All sensors have integrated on/off photocells as a standard feature, with automatic daylight harvesting/dimming control as an available option. Additionally, NCM xx RJB family sensors are also available with an optional auxiliary low voltage relay for simple integration with a BMS system or other building system.
Like Harmonized System, NCM presents interpretation rules and the explanatory notes. The exemption of Chapter 77, 98 and 99 are in both NCM and HS. The Harmonized System used names and numbers to classify the product. Being the nomenclature composed by 6-digits, each digit represents a specific function.
