NEAR Dark is even better and keeps the thriller genre on the edge of the seat waiting to see how Thor can out do himself again. NEAR Dark almost read as a Swan Song for Scot Harveth but I believe it is a new beginning and even better things to come. With a huge cast of characters from Harvaths past it really brought all 20 books together!

NEAR Dark is a departure from the tried and true formula that Brad Thor has used to remain one of the best Authors in the thriller genre, however, it is a testament to Brad Thor's evolution as an Author, along with Scot Harvath's evolution as a man that has too long kept his emotions bottled up.
