In 1919 Vittorio Necchi opened a small factory in Pavia where model “BD”, the first sewing machine under the brand NECCHI was produced.
At the end of 1880, he took over the family factory in the centre of Pavia , which employed 170 workers and built cast iron spare parts for machinery. Today, Necchi sets standards in material quality and design.
