    When a Neonate needs to be transferred between departments, appropriate measures to maintain their temperature need to be ensured. Consider utilising an ATOM infant warmer immediately post operatively for a stabilisation period (4-24 hours). This allows for frequent unwrapping for clinical assessments and decreases the incidence of heat loss.

    The NICU staff and the hospital’s IT department receive training on the use of the NicView™ system and have the capability of turning the cameras on and off as needed. There is a hospital interface that allows staff to view each infant.
