Store up to 7 eyepieces in 2 accessory trays, one with an adjustable red LED illuminator. If you’re interested in astroimaging, the 9.25-inch NexStar Evolution is an excellent, affordable way to get started. It’s the only fork-mounted telescope in its price range that offers brass worm gears, along with improved motors.
This telescope comes with a pre-assembled, adjustable stainless-steel tripod, quick release fork arm, NexStar+ computerized hand control, 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube, and lots of bonus accessories. The entire telescope kit is a simple, no-tool assembly and fast SkyAlign alignment procedure will have you ready to observe in minutes.
The NexStar SLT's ability to track objects is also a pleasing feature. Unfortunately, the Celestron NexStar 127 SLT does have a few downsides. The design is quite "top-heavy" and, while the telescope isn't on the brink of falling over, we do recommend investing in a tripod that’s able to hold the mount and tube much more steadily.
Celestron - NexStar 6SE... The Celestron NexStar 6SE is a telescope that’s an all-arounder, fit for a plethora of skywatching needs: especially since it can be used by beginners, who are just venturing into astronomy, and more seasoned observers with an excellent knowledge of the night sky .
The Celestron NexStar 8 SE telescope sets up and breaks down quickly and is great for taking to dark sky locations. The largest of the NexStar SE family with 78 percent more light gathering than a 6-inch model, the Celestron NexStar 8 SE telescope will enable you to see deep into the universe.
To conclude, Celestron AstroMaster 102AZ is one of the best beginner models. Of course, a Dobsonian provides a better image. But they are harder to carry around and require regular collimation.
With computerized technology, the telescope is compatible with Celestron's high-tech accessories to auto-align, track objects, and try your hand at astro imaging. The long focal length with the short tube is its primary benefit. The general rule is, the longer the focal length, the heavier the OTA. With an SCT, this isn't necessarily true.
The CPC is a new series of fork mount Celestron SCT's. 8, 9.25, and 11 inch. Other than the size, they are all the same.
