The Quick Start uses NetApp Cloud Manager to deploy and configure Cloud Volumes ONTAP. Cloud Volumes ONTAP is a software-only version of Data ONTAP, which is the data management operating system from NetApp that is used on physical NetApp storage appliances.
This Quick Start was developed by NetApp in collaboration with AWS. NetApp is an APN Partner. A virtual private cloud (VPC) configured with a public subnet and an attached internet gateway, if you choose the end-to-end deployment option.

Read and write access to this volume is allowed. Some operations, such as parity reconstruction, are allowed, but data access is not allowed.
Create an NFS volume for Azure NetApp Files From the Azure NetApp Files management blade of your NetApp account, click Volumes. Click + Add volume. In the Create a Volume window, provide information for the volume: Enter myvol1 as the volume name. Click Protocol, then select NFS as the protocol type for the volume. Click Review + create.
This may take a few minutes. Thanks for your patience. After you set up your working environment, you can create and manage Azure NetApp Files accounts, capacity pools, volumes, and snapshots. You can create NFS or SMB volumes in a new or existing Azure NetApp Files account.
When a parameter is already predefined, you can just skip to the next volume parameter. On the Canvas page, click the Azure NetApp Files working environment on which you want to provision a volume. Click > Add Volume From Template. In the Select Template page, select the template that you want to use to create the volume and click Next.
From the Azure NetApp Files management blade, select your NetApp account ( myaccount1 ). From the Azure NetApp Files management blade of your NetApp account, click Capacity pools. Click + Add pools. Provide information for the capacity pool: Enter mypool1 as the pool name.
