Similar to a college situation, we provide internet service for both offices and residences on a single campus. The Netequalizer is a bandwidth shaping appliance designed for voice and data networks, created by APconnections in 2003. Netequalizer traffic shaping appliances use built-in behavior-based algorithms to automatically shape traffic during peak periods on the network.
Netequalizer traffic shaping appliances use built-in behavior-based algorithms to automatically shape traffic during peak periods on the network. When the network is congested, the fairness algorithms favor business class applications at the expense of large file downloads.
You can have the Netequalizer automatically generate a graphical report for your customers on the last day of the month, and have that report in PDF format emailed directly to your admin, while also sending a copy directly to your end customer. We have also built in flexibility in the scheduling.
IPv6 Equalizing As IPv6 traffic usage grows, we will continue to build out capabilities in our Netequalizer releases. In this release, we have targeted our core equalizing infrastructure. We have expanded equalizing to include IPv6 traffic.As of 8.2, you can now view all traffic that is being equalized in one place.
