Those could at least make a gigabit link unlike netool which can do 10/100Mbit max. The company doesn't seem to care about any regulations either: The FCC ID printed on the device (2AK8F-W23257) is fake hence it's not even actually legal to import or to be used. Not caring about the GPL license of the linux OS is then no surprise either.

Create a queue of ports you plug your Netool.io Pro into and map it to a VLAN id that you set and auto configure the port later. Requires LLDP or CDP to be enabled on the switch. Use manual queue on the main menu to queue a port for untagged configuration when you want.
Tapping the + on the top right side of the screen will bring up a popup window where you can enter the IP address of your Netool manually. Once connected to a device through the Devices screen the app will redirect you to the Main Screen.

The netool will receive a IP address via the USB tethering option of your phone. The app will discovery the netool via the USB tether using MDNS. USB option enabled on smart device required. The iOS/iPadOS mode is still in beta due USB trust syncing. and all the features from the standard edition. With no compromises.
If the Netool.iothing had a Bluetooth radio then the app could just whisper to it. Or if the Netool.iothing would connect to my guest WiFI and then report back to the cloud that would be fine too.
