Ocean Outlast is similar to Minecraft skyblock, but instead of being surrounded by air, players are surrounded by oceans on all sides. Like skyblock, many ores are removed from this modpack. Players can go on an exploration journey to find other islands in Ocean Outlast modpack. It features hundreds of quests, new blocks, recipes, and more.
Sea Life V increases the population of sharks, fish, killer whales, sting rays, dolphins and more in the ocean. Its a simple mod, that can lead to lots of fun.
Oceanum is an ocean exploration modpack inspired by the popular Subnautica game. In this modpack, players will encounter new aquatic biomes, mobs, ocean ruins, and more aquatic-themed features. Players who want to experience Subnautica in Oceanum should definitely give this modpack a try.
A few updates ago, Mojang released the Update Aquatic to improve Minecraft's oceans. This update added many new ocean biomes, aquatic mobs, new blocks like corals, kelp, seagrass, and more. While Mojang did their best to improve the oceans, some players may be feeling like it's not enough.
Fish, squid and dolphins frequently spawn within oceans. Shipwrecks and underwater ruins generate within all oceans, while deep ocean variants can occasionally generate ocean monuments. It is also possible for part of an ocean to freeze over into ice if it borders a snowy beach, snowy tundra or snowy taiga .
As part of a biome overhaul, oceans have been made into their own proper biome. Oceans have been made much larger and take up most of the map and their floors were made of a mix of clay, dirt and sand. Frozen ocean biome added.
Salmon, cod, squid and drowned are able to spawn in cold ocean biomes, alongside all the other common hostile mobs. In Java Edition, cold oceans use the same mob spawning chances as oceans for hostile and ambient categories. As for the others: In Bedrock Edition, cold oceans use the same mob spawning chances as oceans.
