The Okki Nokki’s chassis is aluminum and won’t degrade. It seems to dry my records in two turns, 3 tops. The 45 adapter is brilliantly designed and highly recommended. Great value. The new machines coming eatly 2020 will be made from molded plastic, supposedly an improvement because there are no seams, but if you want the aluminum, buy it now.

After 5 albums done this way, I could hear no decernable difference after steam cleaning over the RCM stage. Because of the extra time involved in fitting a masking disk for the label I rarely do it.

The positive vs. negative reviews from long term Okki Nokki owners seem to hinge on if they have the versions with the metal arm or not. I will say though that I did have the vacuum motor itself go bad on the ON as well, but my main problem was in the arms so moving (back) to metal is a step in the right direction for Okki.

The Award Winning Okki Nokki is a quality product designed in the Netherlands and consists of a heavy-duty motor/turntable and vacuum system encased in a compact aluminum chassis. When used with the supplied goat hair cleaning brush, the forward/reverse turntable motion allows for extremely effective groove scrubbing.

I own a Okki Nokki gen I. The dimension including the dust cover are 13-1/4" x 13-1/4" x 9". I doubt the dimension for the ONE are smaller than this footprint. Even if it were improved, I would think 13" (330 mm) is about the best they could possible make it. This will make it very tight to get the unit in and out of the cube.
