Be sure to dilute your bottle of Okki Nokki fluid when you receive it. Don't apply concentrate to your record hah! The process is simple: 1. Place record on platter and secure with threaded center weight 2. Turn rotation on with the switch UP. Apply around 50 mL of fluid 3.

It's what I started with 18 years ago. I currently use a Cadence Okki Nokki and use L'Art du Son fluid. I would never spend £2000 on a record cleaning machine whether I saved up for it or not. So those options are out of the question. D. daytona600 Well-known member. Oct 5, 2012 394 214 19,270.

Firstly, a little about the Okki Nokki itself. You will receive a very well thought out packaged unit, (always a good initial sign). The unit itself is built like a tank. The instruction manual is very detailed, to the point of outright verbose. You cannot miss, unless you don't read it.

With the Okki Nokki (It looks like a bad designed turntable where the arm is a vacuum cleaner) my records look brand new (read: Mint), and more important: the sound quality is better than ever before! It can never remove scratches of course but it does a veeery good job with the rest.

Cleaning the Okki Nokki itself is pretty straightforward: gently clean the bristles on its brush, and empty out the water tube on the back of the machine. That tube holds all of the dirt and dust from your records, and Okki Nokki recommends draining it every 20 records or so.
That tube holds all of the dirt and dust from your records, and Okki Nokki recommends draining it every 20 records or so. The MK II couldn’t save all of our records because it can’t fix scratches, but it did a good job of reducing the amount of surface noise and pops from our records.
