May 21, 2009 . Come on man just ask how much I paid for the mic first. $375 for the mic with circuit installed and an MXL M3 capsule. I swapped the capsule with the MK319/219 capsule and removed some mesh. The MK219 can be scored for $80 used, make sure you get the bakelite capsule. $455 ain't bad for a mic that sounds this good.

Without the power supply they seem to be much cheaper at around $150, but I'm not so sure about how it'll perform on 48v since the Oktava LDCs seem to have a sensitivity of around 10 mV and the mic doesn't have a DC to DC converter from what I've read, so the sensitivity will be noticeably lower.

You can always contact customer service to verify the authenticity of the mics or order one and return it if it isn't.
