In the OLAER bladder accumulator, the bladder is filled with nitrogen. It takes the shape of the accumulator shell. If hydraulic fluid is now pumped into the accumulator, the gas contained in the bladder will be compressed. The gas volume decreases with a simultaneous increase in pressure and the hydraulic fluid accumulates in the unit.
