For their high performance engines, several OEM’s will use synthetic engine oils for factory fill and specify this for aftermar - ket use and many are made with Group III/IV/V base stocks.

The OLI instrument, developed by Ball Aerospace & Technologies, operates at nine wavelengths in the range of 0.433-2.300 μm and provides images with a maximum resolution of 15 m using advanced space imagery technologies.
ACEA itself does not certify oils or license or register compliance certificates. Oil manufacturers are themselves responsible for carrying out all oil testing and evaluation according to recognised practices. On this site we present the current ACEA oil sequences. Why are specifications important?
Landsat 8 (previously named the Landsat Data Continuity Mission) is a joint NASA/U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) mission and is the eighth satellite in the Landsat series. The observatory consists of the spacecraft bus and its play load of two Earth-observing sensors, the Operational Land Imager (OLI) and the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS).
In addition, Landsat 8 follows the same sequence of fixed ground tracks as the Landsat 4, Landsat 5, and Landsat 7 satellites. This allows all the science data from Landsat 8 to be referenced to the same coordinate system, continuing the decades-long data record.
Launched September 27, Landsat 9 will provide a high-quality and reliable stream of land imaging data for the next 10-plus years. Using decades of Landsat satellite imagery, scientists at Geoscience Australia have mapped annual shoreline locations for the entirety of Australia going back more than thirty years.
“Because Landsat’s been operating for so long—thermal imaging has been enabled since the 1980s—we can study how patterns in water use have changed over the landscape over long periods of time as the climate has changed and as land use patterns have changed. So Landsat has been really a critical sensor for our work.”
