I always read the User's Guide of every product I plan to buy, so I know what I can expect. For example, the UG for all Easy Smart switches has just 85 pages. Pretty easy to get an overview of its functionality. Compare this to the 832 pages of the (entry-level!) smart switch T1500G-10PS (UG only; CLI reference manual has another 426 pages).
