OMNISTOR 5000 awning. Is fitted to a motorhome I recently purchased but have some issues when closing it. Perhaps somebody could advise that is the awning isnt straight when winding it in will it cause 1 end to get caught and not close properly.

Just keep walking the legs forward and adjust the height as the canvas winds out. If your awning does not have one of the new fangled locking wotsits you can buy spring loaded rafters which keep the awning nice and tight. I recommend using two of these to keep an even tension right across the awning.
When the legs are correct length for you push the grey lever up until it locks in a vertical position (The inner part will slide up and down to the required height until lever is upward.) To undo pull the grey plastic lever down and the legs will unlock.
