Section 1: General This section introduces the facilities offered by an OmniTek Ultra system, explains how to set it up and describes how it is controlled. It also gives general maintenance advice and describes the steps used to upgrade to the latest version of the Ultra software and to add software options.
OmniTek (trading name of Image Processing Techniques Ltd) was acquired by Intel Corporation in April 2019. The manufacture and sale of OmniTek’s T&M products has now ceased. The Ultra 4K Tool Box, the Ultra XR and Ultra TQ previously manufactured by OmniTek are now at their ‘end of life’.
To reach maximum output power it is recommended to use a high voltage adapter together with the included PoE injector to power the OmniTik unit (48/56V), because 802.3af/at the input is limited to 30W and OmniTik will consume up to 15W by itself.
It is highly recommended to RESET the desk prior to use. How to Reset My Omnidesk Pro? Press and hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height. Press and hold the DOWN button again until the desk lowers a little bit more, slightly rises and stops. Release the DOWN button. Your desk is now ready to use.

The device accepts power in the following ways: Ethernet port accepts passive PoE 12-57 V DC ⎓. Connect the power cord to the adapter, and then plug the power cord into a power outlet. Applies only to OmniTik 5 PoE ac: This device can supply PoE power to external devices from its Ethernet ports.
It is the end users' responsibility to follow local country regulations, including operation within legal frequency channels, output power, cabling requirements, and Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements. All MikroTik radio devices must be professionally installed.
- OmniTIK 5 ac (International) supports 5150MHz-5875MHz range (Specific frequency range can be limited by country regulations). The device has an operating system preinstalled and licensed. No separate purchase is necessary and the product is ready to use.
