I'm looking at an OmniTurn GT-75 to add to a currently almost-all-manual small shop, to be used for short-run production. (50 to 200 parts per run.) OmniTurn. They needed a lathe to cut threads on the inside of special 10" diameter pulse chambers. Worked just fine. And much much faster single pointing, than using 10" diameter taps. It had a 12" ID spindle. Got an old Hardinge (chucker) HC, DV-59, (automatics) HSM, DSM-A etc etc..with bad slides, microswitches etc etc...put an OmniTurn on it.
