Jun 06, 2007 . After contacting OmniTurn they emailed a special version software that is designed to take advantage of the VGA video card built into the controller's Compaq 386 PC. The color LCD monitor mounts easily inside the Omni controller and the picture area is almost exactly the same as the OmniTurn window.

Oct 04, 2019 . Linuxcnc lathe support is much stronger now than when I first looked into this years ago, and I'm not fond of Centroid or other companies offerings. OmniTurn. They needed a lathe to cut threads on the inside of special 10" diameter pulse chambers. Worked just fine. And much much faster single pointing, than using 10" diameter taps. It had a 12" ID spindle. Got an old Hardinge (chucker) HC, DV-59, (automatics) HSM, DSM-A etc etc..with bad slides, microswitches etc etc...put an OmniTurn on it.
