With a mandate of protecting Ontario consumers, OMVIC enforces the provincial laws (Motor Vehicle Dealers Act and Consumer Protection Act) related to retail automotive sales on behalf of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. All motor vehicle dealers (new and used) and salespeople MUST be registered with OMVIC.
We will continue to post updates as we receive them. The Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Commission (OMVC) was established by the Legislature in 1953 for the purpose of licensing and regulating the new motor vehicle industry to benefit the people of Oklahoma.
You will need the following basic technical requirements to complete the online OMVIC test: a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable Internet connection (If you lose internet and regain connectivity, you can go back into the test but the timer will continue to run. After the 90 minutes, the test will submit automatically.
