Like the rest of the family, the PACSystems RX3i features a single control engine and universal programming environment to provide application portability across multiple hardware platforms and deliver a true convergence of control choices.
The GE Fanuc IC695CPE330 CPU is an industrial central processing unit that is manufactured by GE Fanuc to be used as part of a GE RX3i PACSystems series industrial machine control system. The IC695CPE330 CPU has the capacity for a maximum of 512 program blocks, and each of these program blocks can have data capacities of up to 128 KB.
The IC695CPE305 Central Processing Unit comes with 5 MB of non-volatile flash user memory. Its internal serial port or Ethernet port can be used to communicate with the programmer module. An optional energy pack can be used with this CPU module to write user memory to the non-volatile storage when the system power is interrupted.
The IC695CPE330 is a programmable CPU with Ethernet connectivity in the GE Fanuc PACSystems RX3i Series. To program and configure IC695CPE330, you typically use Proficy Machine Edition software. As a user, you can choose any of several different languages in which to program the controller.
IC695CPE305 can be installed in any pair of slots in the main RX3i controller rack except for the slots with the two highest numbers on them. The unit has a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port, but that port supports only the transfer of application data; it is not designed to support a "permanent" connection.
