PADAUK. King Solomon, proverbial for his wisdom in governing the Israelites during the 10th century B.C., must have really known his wood, too. He chose stalwart PADAUK for the pillars of his temple. French Kings Louis XV and Louis XVI were separated from Solomon by thousands of years. Yet, these 17th-century rulers also favored a red-orange ...

PADAUK is an exotic wood that is a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but oxidizes to a darker, rich purple-brown over time - although it stays redder than Indian Rosewood. Slightly harder and heavier than Indian Rosewood it is a good wood in all respects - stable, and easy to work with.

Nov 06, 2018 . EEVblog #1144 - PADAUK Programmer Reverse Engineering. « on: November 05, 2018, 12:34:00 am ». David looks at the pins on the PADAUK PMS150 programmer for potential reverse engineering. TLDR; It doesn't look easy to reverse engineer this protocol, it's messy with lots of voltage levels, as PADAUK said it would be.

I already created adapter pcbs for PMS150C-U06 and PFS154-U06 as I'm mostly interested in the SOT23-6 packages. I took the gerbers of your programmer pcb and added my adapters to it with a gerber panelizer.

If you don't allow PADAUK IDE to access the internet or use an old version after a specific date, the IDE will throw all sorts of artificial (fake) errors to prevent you from using it.

I got distracted a bit after I saw a youtube video from bigclive.com where he found another small gadget which most likely contains a PADAUK IC (he mentioned it in his video). Self contained vehicle door warning strobe lights. If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device.
If it works then there is no more code protection viable for these IC. This is a *cheap* IC, not a security IC. It also costs next to nothing sending PADAUK IC to the usual suspects for IC extraction. Erasing IC... done. Writing IC... done.
Exotic Wood "Project Packs": Each PADAUK exotic wood project pack contains a specific amount of lumber. A variety of sizes are available and are highly popular among woodworkers. If you would like to see our current lumber prices, please click the "All" link below. We're sorry, but currently we are not showing any PADAUK hand-picked.
The PADAUK found most often is African PADAUK from P. soyauxii which, when freshly cut, is a very bright red/orange but when exposed to sunlight fades over time to a warm brown. Its colour makes it a favourite among woodworkers. Burmese PADAUK (ပိတောက်) is P. macrocarpus while Andaman PADAUK is P. dalbergioides.
any of several trees belonging to the genus Pterocarpus, of the legume family, native to tropical Asia and Africa, having reddish striped or mottled wood used for paneling, furniture, etc.
Most pieces tend to start reddish orange when freshly cut, darkening substantially over time to a reddish/purplish brown (some lighter pieces age to a grayish brown). See the article Preventing Color Changes in Exotic Woods for more information. Grain/Texture: Grain is usually straight, but can sometimes be interlocked.
