The Paingone Plus is a flawed poorly… The Paingone Plus is a flawed poorly made device so close to being excellent - very effective at pain relief and has been life changing after a terrible accident. However, it is also not made of the most robust materials - the actuator button has failed after 36 days of use.
The pen is great for accessible joints but not do effective over a larger area like the base of the back but my TENS pads have that covered. For finger joints it is superb, way better than medication and cheaper in the long run than topical gels. I love my pain gone plus. I opted for the plus as its battery powered.
Having up to date, scientific and usable knowledge about pain is a powerful treatment. You can then use this knowledge to change the things you do, think, say and of course, your level of pain. This workbook should be used and discussed with your therapist and brought to each session.
Ive used it successfully on hands, ankles, knees. Larger more padded areas such as spine and shoulders, it doesnt seem to have enough power. A traditional tens pad would be better for this. Used the Paingone before, but found the need to keep clicking tiring, so upgraded to the Paingone plus which requires only one click.
