Take out the right one, put it in your ear, press to turn it on, then press twice. Pull out the left one, and just turn it on and now they are synced again. Turn them off. Turn on your Bluetooth device,, then turn on both earbuds. They will sync to the device. Worked the first time.

In the Bluetooth menu, you want to make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. Then go to your headphones or earphones and press the Bluetooth pairing button. If you're not sure which button that is, your manual will tell you if there's a dedicated Bluetooth button or if the power button doubles as the Bluetooth button.
Turn on pairing mode for your JBL device. If you have paired your device previously, you can manually put it in pairing mode by holding down the Bluetooth button for at least 3 seconds, until the LED flashes (JBL speakers typically have a dedicated Bluetooth button. For JBL headphones, the Power button usually doubles as the Bluetooth button).
