Assembly is simpler with less "kayak yoga" since you put the boat together as an open "canoe" shape and then install the deck. Mar 11, 2008 . The ones we used had done 40 days on the water and though the skin was looking good the frames were slightly the worse for wear. The had been used for expedition paddling on whitewater though, so had probably been abused a lot more than if it was your own boat. - They are big and heavy.
