What do you need before you can take PLAB? Before you can take the PLAB test, you’ll need to set up a GMC Online account and show us that your medical qualification and knowledge of English are acceptable. Once you’ve done that, you can book your place on part 1 of the PLAB test.
You can sit part 1 in a number of countries, as well as in the UK. Have a look at the available locations and dates when you log in to GMC Online. PLAB 2 is an objective structured clinical exam. It's made up of 18 scenarios, each lasting eight minutes and aims to reflect real life settings including a mock consultation or an acute ward.
Scottish Palliative Care Guidelines The Scottish Palliative Care Guidelines reflect a consensus of opinion about good practice in the management of adult patients with life-limiting illness. They are designed for healthcare professionals from any care setting who are involved in supporting people with a palliative life-limiting condition.
PLAB 1 is a written exam made up of 180 multiple choice questions which you must answer within three hours. Each starts with a short scenario followed by a question. You need to choose the right answer out of the five possible answers given.

Who we are. Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) is a non-profit community based health care organization that contracts with the State to administer Medi-Cal benefits through local care providers to ensure Medi-Cal recipients have access to high-quality comprehensive cost-effective health care.
An example is the partnership of Centura Health, a 15-hospital, 6,000-physician health system in Colorado and western Kansas, with DaVita HealthCare Partners, a leading provider of kidney care and a medical group and network management company.
Tool 11: Community Resource Guide The first step to using community resources to address patients’ social and behavioral health needs is to identify community agencies and other organizations that can help meet those needs.
