This is also a great time to get under any gemstones, designs, or engraving. Finally, carefully rinse each piece and lightly dry it with a soft, lint-free linen cloth. NOTE.

Many gardeners try Caladiums as indoor plants. There are some special instructions on Caladium care indoors to keep the plants healthy and preserve the tubers. Plants growing in regions that experience cold winters could be planted in containers to facilitate moving them inside when cold temperatures threaten.
Most caladium varieties can be planted in either sun or shade . If you are planting them in a sunny location, it is important that they still get some shade during the hottest part of the day. Like most plants, caladiums grow best in fertile, well drained soil.
Grow Caladiums Outdoors. Plant tubers outdoors after the soil has warmed to at least 65 degrees F. Prepare a planting bed that is tilled at least 8 inches deep. Mix 1 tbsp. of bone meal in each planting hole and plant tubers at a depth of 2 inches with the eyes up. Cover them with fine, loose soil.
Caladiums have beautiful heart-shaped leaves that are pink, white or red on the inside and green around the edges. They also grow subtle white flowers. Caladiums grow rapidly and are beautiful indoors as well as in a garden. You can buy caladiums as potted plants or as dormant tubers.
