He was the Greek god of warcraft. He existed before Zeus as well as the Olympians. Pallas was the brother of the other second generation Titans, Astraeus, and Perses. He was married to Styx (the goddess of hatred) and they are both said to have sired Nike, Zelos, Bia ,and Kratos.
It is assumed that for this reason and the fact that he attempted to assault Athena, Pallas is in the hell-pit. Zelus, Kratos, Bia, and Nike were also gods of war and upon the fall of the Titans, they became winged hatchet gods of Zeus.
Since Pallas was goat-like, Athena realized that she could use his hyde to protect herself as a shield. The shield she made out of this skin is referred to as aegis. As an Olympic, Athena made use of this skin during their war with the Gigantes.
Pallas was the brother of the other second generation Titans, Astraeus, and Perses. He was married to Styx (the goddess of hatred) and they are both said to have sired Nike, Zelos, Bia,and Kratos. The names of the third Titan generation meant victory, zeal, force, and power respectively. Styx was an Oceanide whose parents were Oceanus and Tethys.
