The North Supply Brass Pantel and Pancode Door Access Control Systems allow users to achieve this from the convenience of their desktop, allowing staff to be more efficient and premises to remain secure.
The Pantel is a wall mounted access control door phone, which is connected to an analog port of a PBX or a Key Telephone System. The Pantel is compatible with most known telephone systems and PBX types.
With a hands free intercom, the Pantel one-button is simple to operate and program. It can be opened from any extension and has programmable day and night destinations. Door Access systems provide the means to be able to control visitors to your premises through the convenience of your telephone system.
To Install the PanCam/Pantel/Pancode wall bracket 1. Measure and mark the location on the wall where the holes will be drilled for the mounting bracket. 2. Drill the holes and insert the wall anchors into the holes. The wall anchors should be flush with the wall. 3. Attach the mounting bracket using the wall screws provided.
There are always two locations to install access control: At the door and in the IT room (communications closet). The first thing to consider is on which doors you actually want the access control system installed. In other words, you have to decide what doors, windows, or other access points you’d want secured in your office.
In the majority of cases, mobile access control is powered by Bluetooth, allowing phones to communicate with a reader placed on a door. These days, there’s no need for pairing devices manually, as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology will take care of that often frustrating process.
Generally, access control devices, such as card readers and cameras, are located on the exterior of buildings or spaces. Card readers are used to limit access into a space. By Fire Code, card readers can not be located on the inside of spaces limiting the ability to exit.
Cloud-based access control architecture (simplified) Kisi, and most other leaders in access control, use cloud-based systems, meaning that at your office or space you will only have door readers and a cloud-connected controller, and all the data is handled by Kisi servers.
