Pass Labs preamps are divided into two series; Xs and XP. The former range sports two top of the line models (Xs Phono and Xs Preamp), whereas the latter consists of five items in total; XP-10, -12, -20, -22 and -30.
As far as numbers go, power consumption is 30 watts, gain is 9.3dB, crosstalk goes beyond 100dB, FR at 10Hz is +/-0.5dB and -1dB at 100kHz, then there’s 15uV of residual noise and THD of 0.001%@1kHz seals the deal. Pass Labs XP-12 shares visuals with many other products by the same manufacturer, it’s obvious from the get-go who made it.
The Quickstart team and training are excellent! The team is always happy and available to answer your questions and assist you in any way they can. The training - including all of the projects (which can go in your portfolio) - prepares students for opportunities in the field of cyber security.
Using gentle rotation, push the swab until resistance is met at the level of the turbinates (less than one inch into the nostril). Rotate the swab several times against the nasal wall, and then slowly remove from the nostril. Using the same swab, repeat sample collection in the other nostril.
Terry London explores the Pass Labs INT-60, a 60-watt integrated amplifier (the first 30 watts are pure Class A) with balanced inputs and outputs. I confess, I’m a lifelong fan and owner of amplifiers built by Nelson Pass--going all the way back to his original company, Threshold, up to the present generation of Pass Labs amplifiers.
I'm curious if anyone has had a chance to listen to these two integrated amplifiers. I know the Int 25 is basically the XA25 with a preamp. The Int 60 runs class A to 30 watts (and uses the same preamp) so maybe it's more closely related to the XA30.8, though I don't believe I've read that anywhere.
Nelson Pass IS INDEED a genius. The Heresy IV and LaScala AL5 are easy to drive speakers with a high sensitivity of 99dB and 105dB respectively, and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. With these speakers it is not a surprise the Pass Labs INT-25 sounded best in comparison to all other higher spec amps which include the INT-60 and 250.
Pass Laboratories INT-60 integrated amplifier. If I told you that Pass Laboratories' INT-60 integrated amplifier ($9000) was engineered by meth-lab trolls, its faceplate was wonky, its transformers buzzed, and it made every instrument sound like a tambourine, you'd think I was a crackpot with some kind of axe to grind, right?
