Could I suggest to John that he read the instructions from Pazon- if you set the timing to 32 degrees static does the Pazon then some how automatically retard the timing for starting ?. 32 degrees is full advance and too much advance could wreck an engine. Sounds odd to me but I am not familiar with aftermarket electronic ignitions. Patrick

In construction very much like a Boyer although a bit more robust, in the 7.5 year warranty, a more appropriate advance curve for our bikes and the fact that it is more compatible with our typically weak charging systems. As the ignition coils are among the ignition system's most vital components, an issue can cause spark to be compromised, which can quickly lead to performance issues. Faulty coils may cause the vehicle to experience misfires, a rough idle, a loss in power and acceleration, and a reduction in gas mileage.
There are two parts to an ignition system. The first one is called the primary side and the second is the secondary side. The primary side consists of the distributor and the electronic control module and the secondary consists of spark plugs and wires, an ignition coil, rotor and in some systems the distributor.
