May 15, 2019 . So I know the PDK is spec’d at 3.9s 0-60 whereas the manual is 4.4s. With Sport Chrono. Honestly that seems like a huge difference. Can anyone explain how the difference is that much? I mean is the PDK that quick off the line? Is it too hard get the clutch to work from a start? I have to believe the MT can be shifted reasonably fast.

PDK includes testing tools, a complete module skeleton, and command line tools to help you create, validate, and run tests on Puppet modules. PDK also includes all dependencies needed for its use.
For every Porsche fan, the three letters ‘PDK’ carry a magical meaning. This could be partly because they abbreviate a complicated German term like ‘Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe’.
PDK's default template sets up rspec for Ruby-level unit testing, and rspec-puppet for catalog-level unit testing. In the module's directory, run unit tests with: This command runs all available unit tests. The PDK console command executes a session of the puppet debugger when inside a module and allows for exploration of puppet code.
This principle allows, like in an automatic transmission with hydraulic torque converter, a gear change in milliseconds. The first six gears of the PDK have a sporty gear ratio, which means that the maximum speed is reached in sixth gear. In seventh gear, the long gear ratio lowers the engine speed, which optimizes fuel consumption.
Browse Car Specifications... With a fuel consumption of 11.5 litres/100km - 25 mpg UK - 20 mpg US (Average), 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.8 seconds, a maximum top speed of 182 mph (293 km/h), a curb weight of 3142 lbs (1425 kgs), the 911 (997) Carrera S has a naturally-aspirated Boxer 6 cylinder engine, Petrol motor.
The after-lunch strafe offers a whole new perspective on the updated 911 — PDK (or, wait for it, Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe). The steed is a 911 Carrera S PDK cabriolet featuring the optional Sports Chrono Package Plus.
Just don’t underestimate the significance of the changes lurking beneath the 2008 911’s bi-xenon headlights, restyled bumpers, Audi-inspired LED running lights and new wheels and colours. Yes, it’s faster, edgier, sexier, better-equipped and more expensive, but it’s also cleaner, greener, more efficient and, best of all, more fun.
On the topic of chassis details responsible for road holding, handling behavior and ride comfort, the 911 (997) Stock tire sizes are 235 / 35 on 19 inch rims at the front, and 295 / 30 on 19 inch rims at the rear. For stopping power, the 911 (997) Carrera S braking system includes Vented Discs at the front and Vented Discs at the rear.
