Apr 7, 2020. #1. Hi all, My Phantom 3 Pro is having a problem with Weak Image Transmission Signal. It can be on the ground four feet away or in the air at a distance. The firmware is up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled where applicable. This problem did not start after a firmware upgrade and I have not had a hard landing.

Sometimes this can help you to solve the RC signal loss problem. Note that your Phantom 3 along with the remote controller do not have empty batteries as this may cause a weak transmission signal and you would need to pair your drone with RC again. Step 1: To start the pairing process turn ON the power on your DJI Phantom 3. Connect your tablet or phone via the USB port and launch the DJI Go app.

Aug 19, 2017 . If you get various errors such as weak image transmission signal, etc - first order of business is to completely delete and reinstall the DJI GO app from your device. Firstly I get "Weak Image/video Transmission signal" message and the prompts me to return to home. after few seconds (when I fly further away few meters) I get weak remote control signal message and in few seconds ..It gets disconnected from the remote. It works on both the DJI Phantom 4, Phantom 3 and Inspire 1 remote controllers. If your remote controller is out of its calibration thresholds, then you will have RC signal loss to your Phantom 3. Also, if you Phantom 3 is flying erratically, then you should also calibrate the remote controller.
If you want to increase the signal range on your Phantom 3, a simple range booster can increase the controllers range on your remote controller. The range booster works in such a way that the remote controller will focus the signal on your Phantom 3 and increase the range. By that you will have the stronger signal all the time in all directions.
