The coaxial S/PDIF input will accommodate a digital transport such as the Pro-Ject CD Box DS2 T. All inputs offer support for high resolution data up to 24-bit /192 kHz. The USB input offers full high-resolution support for all files up to PCM 32/768 and DSD256.
Although very boxy-looking [hence, "DAC Box\, with sharp corners and only one ESS9038 DAC [the Topping D50 has two and costs $50 less], Pro-Ject's implementation is very good, producing a detailed and musical listen. Tidal MASTER streaming, USB input, 32bit/384kHz leaves little to be desired.
