Otherwise if the noise is on one channel it could be faulty transistors. If it is on both channels then you are looking for something common to both channels.

When you shut your key off the radio loses ALL power and it needs ACC power to maintain the memory. If not, the unit will reset itself. The screen you see is the touchscreen calibration screen. Just follow the " X " around the screen to 5. Then the unit will boot up again. You will have to reset radio stations and EQ and speaker settings.

Radio can only be played at very low volume without distortion. Checked all wiring and speakers. CLEARLY a faulty unit. Went back and forth with emails reporting faulty radio to Pyle. I have a Pyle PD6BU receiver . All of the sudden when I increase the volume there is a lot of static and crackling. Any ideas? Depending on the age of the unit, if it uses the old style control knobs they can get dirt in them and produce that effect. Cleaning with switch cleaner will solve that.
Marine stereos don’t differ too widely from conventional stereos, and both varieties rely on various fuses located at the back of both the radio and amplifiers. If you’re stereo isn’t working, you should check the back of the radio for any potential issues with the fuses, and you should pay special attention to your amplifier fuse as well.
Cleaning with switch cleaner will solve that. Otherwise if the noise is on one channel it could be faulty transistors. If it is on both channels then you are looking for something common to both channels. But not the power supply.
