This command makes QEMU exit the preconfig state and proceed with VM initialization using configuration data provided on the command line and via the QMP monitor during the preconfig state. The command is only available during the preconfig state (i.e. when the –preconfig command line option was in use).

This section of the manual is the overall guide for users using QEMU for user-mode emulation. In this mode, QEMU can launch processes compiled for one CPU on another CPU.
For QEMU’s RISC-V system emulation, you must specify which board model you want to use with the -M or --machine option; there is no default. Because RISC-V systems differ so much and in fundamental ways, typically operating system or firmware images intended to run on one machine will not run at all on any other.
QEMu-img allows you to create, convert and modify images offline. It can handle all image formats supported by QEMU. Warning: Never use QEMu-img to modify images in use by a running virtual machine or any other process; this may destroy the image.
See the QEMu (1) manual page for a description of the object properties. The most common object type is a secret, which is used to supply passwords and/or encryption keys. Indicates that the source FILENAME parameter is to be interpreted as a full option string, not a plain filename.
