Apr 10, 2016 . The assembly instructions say, “The .010″ thickness paddle leaves provide a light touch. A user could make a leaf with thicker material for a stiffer touch.” I think that what the QRPGuys should really do is to either include two sets of levers—one thin and one thick—or offer the stiffer material as an option.

Users will need two generic 3.5mm stereo jumpers to your computer or tablet microphone/speaker jacks on the sound card. The T/R relay is replaced by a transistor switch with the VOX circuit sensing the signal from the software on the pc or tablet speaker jack. The optional VFO plugs into and mounts directly on the pcb.

On both 40m and 20 meters the resonant frequency on the tripod is a little higher on the tripod. Not much but measurable, 14.18 vs. 14.10mhz; 7.204 vs. 7.260mhz. New Antenna - QRPGuys DS1. Just finished putting together the QRP Guys DS1 antenna. This is pictured with the 40m extension. I haven't had a chance to try it on the air, but measured it with the NanoVNA on 40M. Is about 1.1:1 at 7.058MHz, goes up to 2:1 at 7:118MHz.
