The 3D ROI tool supports file formats of VQ 3D ROI (.rmha) and vtkStructuredPoints (.vtk). To load an ROI from disk, click the "Load ROI" button and select the desired ROI. Save an ROI to disk. To save an ROI to disk, click the "Save ROI" button and specify a name and location for the file. The ROI will be written as an VQ 3D ROI (.rmha) file.

The QuantStudio™3D Instrument performs imaging and primary analysis of QuantStudio™3D Digital PCR 20K Chips that have been loaded with TaqMan®assays and thermal cycled using a Dual Flat Block GeneAmp®PCR System 9700.
The system supports a broad range of genomic applications, such as analyses of gene expression, microRNAs and noncoding RNAs, copy number variation, drug metabolism enzymes, and protein expression; SNP genotyping; and mutation detection. A user-friendly touchscreen and intuitive software make the systems easy to use.
Most QuantStudio systems with 96-well block format feature VeriFlex technology, which provides precise independent temperature control in each zone. Blocks contain either three or six VeriFlex zones. Each zone can be a different temperature, allowing multiple temperature optimizations in the same run.
The QuantStudio™ 3 and 5 Systems can run assays designed with custom dyes (dyes not supplied by Thermo Fisher Scientific or dyes not pre-calibrated with the instrument). Custom dyes must excite between 455 – 672 nm and emit between 505 – 723 nm.
The QuantStudio®3D Digital PCR System is capable of detecting both TaqMan®and SYBR®chemistries. However, gold-standard TaqMan®Assays are ideal for digital PCR, as TaqMan®chemistry minimizes false positives in quantitative PCR experiments and eliminates the need for melt curve analysis.
