May 05, 2006 . I just picked up a Quantaray lens and I hoped someone might know when it was made. It is a Quantaray Sequence 4 28-70mm f2.8-4 for Pentax K (A mount). I have a manual focus version but according to the information sheet it was available as an AF version. Anyone know anything about it?

Just for someone who wants to save a few dollars. An overall opinion of a lensmaker is of little use; after all, Canon and Nikon have made some pure crap in recent years (as

Quantization is in beta and subject to change. Introduction to Quantization Quantization refers to techniques for performing computations and storing tensors at lower bitwidths than floating point precision. A quantized model executes some or all of the operations on tensors with integers rather than floating point values.

Most Quantaray lenses were made by Sigma and some were made by Tamron and Tokina. This lens performs like a Sigma Mirror lens. It is reasonably sharp if you can hold it steady. It has the typical ringed bokeh we see from mirror lenses. Contrast is surprisingly high.

An Opinion is just that. My experience as an Engineer and now Camera Technician is that premium lenses generally have tighter tolerances. Basically this means that you get more excellent lenses per batch. The Quantaray lenses are good value and you may be lucky and get one that is perfect.
Well, Sigma has a more extensive line and it usually take Quantaray a while to up date their lenses. But that is more likely because Quantaray is primarily made for and offered by Ritz Camera. While Sigma lenses are available through just about every camera dealer including Ritz Camera. Again...
Simga is NOT the only maker of. lenses for Ritz/Quantaray (never has been) I never stated that Sigma was the only company that made Quantaray/Ritz lenses. Ritz Camera has many different companies manufacter products for sale by Ritz exclusively.
Quantization currently supports two backends: fbgemm (for use on x86, https://github.com/pytorch/FBGEMM) and qnnpack (for use on the ARM QNNPACK library https://github.com/pytorch/QNNPACK ). For example, if you are interested in quantizing a model to run on ARM, it is recommended to set the qconfig by calling:
