Nov 09, 2015 . Quantaray is made for the Ritz chain of photo stores by Sigma. Generally, they are what can be called charitably "consumer" level quality. Also, they tend to be older designs. You can do better unless you live someplace that has no other photo stores and you have no access to internet stores.

Many of Quantaray's lenses are just simply rebrands of Sigma lenses, a lot of their flashes are SunPak (or whatever their name is).
